The global figure and the universalistic charge of posthumanism create the illusion of the coming future. 

 

The new progressivist utopia of neoliberal economics, wide-format mobile Internet, valueoriented society and environmentalism, it would seem, erases not only national boundaries but also the relationship of the world, between its systemic periphery and its center. 

 

The unmanned electric vehicle has become a material metaphor for the new era, a universal attraction, and a "real" desire machine. 

But the future does not come for everyone and not at the same time. 

 

The series of eight sculptures were created from fragments of the Tesla corps, on which Rafael de Mestre made a round-the-world trip in 2012. 

 

The goal of the project is to reveal a situation of contrast between utopia and reality, between the speed and safety of the first and second worlds.
